Founder

Antoine De Laure Ngadop has had a lack of education, schooling and poverty in his childhood. "After kindergarten, I started high school at the age of 15, but I had to walk 12 km every day to school." Reported the man who was born in 1977 in Bafang, a small city in the west of Cameroon.

Through the support of his family, Antoine De Laure Ngadop got a place at university to study energy and environmental engineering in Darmstadt in 2003. Only a few high school graduates had these possibilities. Education is a real challenge in Cameroon, as there is hardly any opportunity for training. Every educated child secures the future and existence of his family.

After studying, Antoine De Laure Ngadop started working at Ingeteam Europe in 2010 and is now an engineer with the most important network planning and renewable energy for energy supply and industry in Germany. "I never forgot my homeland and also difficulties and challenges with which people are confronted there, especially the western part of Cameroon where I grew up, is still disadvantaged today because of the lack of practical training possibilities."

That is why Antoine De Laure Ngadop founded the club in 2013 Together for African Development (TAD). So that people there gain better opportunities through a practically oriented training.

Today, Antoine De Laure Ngadop wants to achieve one thing above all: the people from Batouchieu and the surrounding area will be able to go through the complete training opportunities in this training center. After that, they should have the opportunity to help themselves. And then, with this know-how, they will continue to support their own region. "We hope to minimize the brain drain and thus permanently strengthen disadvantaged regions".

"TAD is helping young people to help themselves"
